Time for a Cozy and Comfy Christmas!

A cozy Christmas is all about warmth and comfort. This likely is quite subjective, but for me it’s about sitting by a fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa, some chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven, and maybe a good book. I envision a cream and rich brown color palette. What about you? What comes to mind when you think about a cozy Christmas? Getting Started

There’s nothing I love more than being all cozy and comfy, especially after a long day. How about you? During the Holidays, I find myself relaxing just by gazing at a Christmas tree in the evening as the white lights twinkle and bring a soft warm glow to a room.

Although I could definitely see myself enjoying the space above, I can safely say that I’m not much of a red and black plaid kind of gal. And although I want to bring brown into the cozy Christmas look I have in mind, this is too dark for the look I’m going for. If anything, I’d likely have dark brown as an accent color and cream colors take center stage. Maybe something more in line with the photos below.

Time to Experiment

So, when I find myself seeing some possibilities but nothing seems to shout out at me but I’m still somewhat drawn to a look, it’s time for me to start playing around with some ideas. This allows me to see if anything starts clicking. For me, this usually means designing a printable and browsing shops for products to incorporate into a look. I’ll then start adding and deleting items from my wish list or shopping cart. Sometimes I win and sometimes I’m not even close. This one turned out to be a win in my book!
